Date of Birth: September 17th, 1988

Jason Ashcraft began playing guitar around the age of twelve. He began listening to bands like AC/DC and Metallica from his dad's tape collection which put him on the path to metal and rock. It wasn't until his friend Anthony showed him "Alive in Athens" by Iced Earth that his journey into heavy metal really began. The godly right hand of Jon Schaffer heavily influenced Jason into becoming a primarily rhythm guitarist. Shredding was great and all, but those speed gallops spoke to him like no other. Jason formed the band Dire Peril in high school but didn’t begin recording music for it until 2009. The band continued as a one piece until early 2013 when he was able to assemble a full line up. He is currently the rhythm guitarist for Helion Prime and Dire Peril.
